Former Greenpoint resident Caitlin Maestrini would like to (re)introduce the neighborhood to Lägenheten (34 Norman Ave.), her Scandinavian design store that was formally known as Teak.
Maestrini first started Teak in 2021 as a pop-up, and in 2023, she opened her first brick- and-mortar store at Greenpoint’s 42 West Street.
