Reunion (544 Union Ave.), an Israeli restaurant in Williamsburg, officially closed this past weekend. They first opened in 2014.
“Over the past few years, running an independent restaurant has become increasingly challenging,” they wrote on Instagram.
“Rising food and operating costs, along with the realities of being an Israeli restaurant during a very difficult time, have made it impossible for us to continue in a sustainable way.”
They officially closed on Sunday, February 8.

So sad that they became a target of the always inclusive and tolerant far left, truly exceptional food – they will be missed!
This is such an unnecessary comment. Leave it to only the food don’t bring politics into it. Guessing you’re not originally from NYC.
Really sad. Loved their menu. It is a shame we have become so intolerant as a society.
I’m sad this place is gone. Exceptional staff and food. It will be very much missed.
