Calling all who appreciate Indonesian culture! This Saturday, the Indonesian Gastronomy Association brings you Pasar Senggol at Greenpoint Terminal Market (2 Noble Street), 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will get to experience Indonesian culture and enjoy their cuisine. Bring your friends and family to have a taste of this beautiful Asian country. Who knows, Indonesia could be your next family vacation destination!
Join the Newtown Creek Alliance to clean up Penny Bridge (1000 Meeker Avenue) this Saturday at 11 a.m.! This unique shoreline and overlook needs some TLC. Join fellow green heroes to help remove trash and improve the pathways and planted areas. Cleaning equipment will be provided. DO bring along water, sun protection and wear closed-toed shoes! PS9 Pet Supplies (169 North 9th Street) will be having Yappy Hour this Saturday, 1 – 4 p.m. Your furry loves will get to sample CBD treats and tincture from Happy Hounds. PS9 Pets Supplies have been serving the North Brooklyn community for almost 20 years. Swing by this Saturday and show your support!
Edy’s Grocer (136 Meserole Avenue) is closing for their summer break! This Saturday will be the last day to grab their pantry goodies and your favorite takeout meals. The team will reopen on September 8. Do plan your Edy’s Grocer’s supplies accordingly.

Calling all artists! Laurie Freyer will be hosting an Art Meet-Up this Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McGolrick Park. The concept is simple. Laurie will be bringing iced tea, snacks and some botanical still life for the picnic table. You the artist will be in charge of bringing your own art supplies. Join in this art fellowship and walk away nourished!
