The weekly outdoor food market, Smorgasburg will pack up and move from the East River State Park to an indoor venue a few blocks closer to Greenpoint next month, Brooklyn Paper reports.

The new home for the Saturday edition of the weekly food fest, which has expanded to Prospect Park and the World Trade Center, will be at 25 Kent Ave. on the 2nd floor beginning November 2nd. Update: Smorgasburg tells Greenpointers that they will be on th eighth floor of 25 Kent Ave.
East River State Park will continue to host Smorgasburg on Saturdays through October 26th, before the event moves to 25 Kent Ave.
It remains unclear if Smorgasburg will return to the outdoor Williamsburg waterfront location next summer as in the past. More from Brooklyn Paper:
Last winter, the foodie organizers moved their emporium to Fort Greene’s Atlantic Center Mall on weekends, along with a night market on Fridays at the Williamsburg event space Villain, with music performances and art exhibits curated by the media company Vice Media. That year’s indoor market featured about a quarter of the 100 vendors that hawked treats outdoors previously.
25 Kent Ave. is one of the newest office buildings in North Brooklyn and hosted the large-scale street art exhibition Beyond the Streets this past summer; the building is currently hosting the dog-focused Best Dog Day Ever Holloween pop-up event.
Smorgasburg is the best, hope this indoor venue is just as fun! This weekend I spent some time in BK, and instead of using my typical Uber/Lyft app, I decided to try something a friend recommended to me.
