Wedding Crashers, the only wedding fair in NYC that spans two entire venues, returns to Gowanus, Brooklyn on March 17, 2019 with even more tastings, live music, and inspiration to plan an upstate or New York City wedding.

At this one-stop wedding planning festival produced by Brooklyn Based, couples can find their every wedding need from photographers to venues, all while sipping bubbly, slurping oysters, and enjoying live music and DJs.

Located at both The Green Building and across the street at 501 Union, in Gowanus, Brooklyn, it is the only fair in NYC so interactive and extensive, it takes place in two venues. Attending our fair, filled with good food and drink, original touches such as custom gowns, aromatherapy bars and unique photobooths, is like crashing the kinds of weddings we inspire.

At this 10th annual edition on March 17, 2019, couples can look forward to:

100 wedding vendors and venues, including a dozen from the Hudson Valley for couples planning their upstate nuptials.

30 online raffle prizes, from a Brooklyn staycation package courtesy World Bride Magazine to a two-night stay at Scribner’s Catskill Lodge.

-An “oystertainer” and 300 oysters courtesy Red Oyster USA, who will also be furnishing the oyster garnishes atop Bloody Marys served by Marcey Brownstein Catering and Events.

-Over 20 caterers, restaurants, cake studios and food trucks including Red Hook Lobster Pound, One Girl Cookies, Frankies Spuntino, Farm on Adderley, Pies ‘n’ Thighs, Wafels & Dinges, Roberta’s and Hill Country Barbecue.

 

-Bottomless adult beverages, from bloodys to bubbly to craft beer from Strong Rope Brewery, as well as custom coconut drinks from CoCo & Co. for the first 100 guests.

-Live music from Moxie Jazz, Moonshine Bluegrass and Highline String Quartet, as well as 4 DJs spinning throughout the day.

-A free, continuous shuttle from the Carroll Street F/G stop to the venues courtesy New York Trolley Company.

-Inspiring installations, rentals and photobooth backdrops throughout the fair, from AYGUL Love Letters to a waterfall of Rebel Balloon Co. balloons and custom backdrop for Brindamour Photobooth to Stellar Vintage custom sweetheart tables.

-A braid bar from MG Hair and Makeup and an Orchard Aromatherapyexperience by Christina Daigneault, co-author of the best-selling beauty guide, Plant-Powered Beauty.

-Registries for gifts from West Elm, Williams-Sonoma and custom welcome gifts from The Giftwell.

-A bridal fashion section featuring gowns from Brooklyn bridal boutique Schone Bride, Italian shoe designer Anniel and Brooklyn jewelry designer Vanessa Lianne Jewelry.

-Hands-on letterpress card making with Quick Brown Fox Letterpress.

-Onsite door prizes including a gift card for an Airbnb stay courtesy Sea Shack Photo and Films, and giveaways from CityWell Brooklyn and MG Hair and Makeup, all at the Wedding Crashers booth.

Wedding Crashers runs from noon to 4pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019. There’s no need to brunch beforehand, or to pre-game for St. Patrick’s day anywhere else, because the complimentary food and drink will be flowing for guests.

Tickets can be purchased at brooklynweddingfair.com and are $25 for general admission, and $35 for VIP admission, which includes a goody-stuffed tote and 5 entries in our online raffle. Raffle prizes will be awarded upon check-in, so raffle tickets must be purchased in advance.
