Mind-boggling puppet monster movies made on smart phones, an experimental music/tawdry sorcery project, a bloodthirsty feminist cult, fermented foods inspired by Tennessee commune cultures, a living a living VHS museum, underground rock n’ roll, and more are coming to North Brooklyn this weekend! Freak Flag Fest (FFF) is bringing live music, films, art installations, interactive projections, food and drinks to the Brooklyn Kitchen (100 Frost Street) from June 15th through the 17th, starting at various times each day. FFF is “sonic, video, projection and installation art, plus awesomely discordant music loud and quiet. FFF is homemade vegan treats inspired by queer hippies. FFF is a totally legal underground rock show revival for all, from legit youth to the somewhat middle-aged. There will be chairs and drinks and inflatables. Let your freak flag fly, and remember why we love this town.” The event will be livestreamed on Wave Farm.
Tix range from $15 to $45 for all weekend pass. More info
