Coming off of his third mixtape, Coloring Book, young Chicago lyricist and everyone’s favorite humanitarian, Chance The Rapper, announced via Twitter that he would be bringing his Be Encouraged Tour to Queens for two nights in September. Alas, those two nights have arrived and we’re ready to party “All Night!” If you don’t know him from ’Acid Rap’ or ‘Surf’ here’s the perfect opportunity to get to know Chicago’s greatest as he continues to ride the waves of stardom.
First rising to fame for his unmatched wit and ability to seamlessly rhyme about nearly any topic, Chance has developed into a world-class act with an ability to approach and tackle large scale issues from a lyrical standpoint – shifting the focus to creating conversation about the things he’s passionate about. This just in (as if it could get any better) the young Chi-town native just debuted a new song last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and you may just be the first to hear it live if you catch him this week.
