Greenpoint Open Studios is back and happening on April 29-May 1, 2016. It’s a fun-filled weekend long event that celebrates the thriving art scene and supports the creative community in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Local artists open up their studios to directly engage with visitors and showcase their work and workspaces. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Artists! The sign-up deadline is April 10, 2016. Register your studio for a dedicated feature on the GOS website and a chance to be featured on Greenpointers’ Thursday Artist Spotlight.
For the last GOS, ARTLOG said “Brooklyn has long been considered a hotbed of creativity and bohemian spirit. This weekend’s Greenpoint Open Studios, which provided a glimpse into over 250 artists’ studio spaces, made it clear that Northern Brooklyn does indeed live up to the hype.” It was also featured at the top of New York Times’ Around Town.
