Ever wish that there was a place you could go to casually drink and draw with your friends (that wasn’t your small walk up)? Starting tomorrow, there is—a new summer Drink ‘n’ Draw series hosted by Greenpointers contributor and local illustrator Libby VanderPloeg at Dusty Rose Vintage Warehouse in Greenpoint. Find out how you can join in on the fun!

All the drawing a night can handle c/o Libby VanderPloeg

Libby and Dusty Rose founder Maresa came up with idea after talking with neighbors, friends, and local artists who just wanted “to have a relaxed evening of fun drawing and shared creativity,” says Libby.

Each installment of the series will have its own theme, stacks of old magazines and other collage materials on hand to get the imagination going, and of course lots of good times, drinking, and (new) friends. The theme for this summer opener? Summer vacation, naturally. Here’s the deets:

TIME: 7 – 8:30pm
THEME: Where I want to go / what I want to do on my SUMMER VACATION
LOCATION: Dusty Rose Vintage, 251 Greenpoint Avenue in Greenpoint
COST: $25 per person (price includes two drinks, pens and paper)
TICKETS: can be purchased on HERE or at the door. Space is limited.
