On a recent summer morning, Jen G. and I headed over to the Pulaski Bridge to shoot some stylin’ Greenpoint residents on their daily commute to work. Click through for five looks.

Chelsea: “My style is slightly laid back and tomboyish, but I like to look like I mean business. The shirt is a thrifted mens shirt which I cut and altered. Pants are Urban Outfitters. Bag is H&M.”
We’re digging the black and white pairings on this couple.
Cool shades! We’re also loving the western influences on an otherwise classic white shirt.

Heather: ” My style is motivated by my celebration of my awesome job, home and feeling good about life. The hat, shoes, sunglasses, hair and bag are all from Greenpoint (Respectively: Bejeweled and DNA Footwear on Manhattan Ave, Beacon’s Closet, Brittany @ Hair Metal on Franklin and a neighbor).
The feet tattoos were designed by my friend in 2002 and inked at True Blue Tattoo in Ridgewood, Queens – when I lived in Bushwick. I’ve lived in Greenpoint since 2004 and love my neighborhood.”Â

Kyle: “I don’t over-think it and try to keep it simple with things that fit well. A bit rustic, a bit dressy; I like blues and whites and browns together. My favorite piece is the tie. I really like the hue of it, sort of a slate blue. It’s by Ernest Alexander from Modern Anthology in Brooklyn and a friend got it for me as a gift so it’s special.”
