Greenpoint, we are getting ready to see you on Sunday!
As a reminder: Through the winter, the McGolrick Park Farmers Market will be located at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah (129 Russell St). Thank you, Pastor Amy Kienzle and crew!
The vendor list for McGolrick Park Winter keeps growing, and as of press time on Friday afternoon, here’s the line-up for Sunday:
American Pride Seafood
Grown in Brooklyn (tempeh by Barry)
Horman’s Best Pickles
Jersey Farm Produce
Migliorelli Farm
Orwashers Bakery
Pie Lady & Son
Sohha Savory Yogurt
Stone & Thistle Farm
Tierra Farm (locally-roasted nuts, coffees, and more)
Also, help us welcome Saratoga Crackers to this market for the first time ever. Baking out of Saratoga, New York, they make a wide variety of delicious crackers without any preservatives or artificial ingredients. Try ’em to believe ’em.
MOMO Dressing will join the market on Sunday, January 12th, and sell their amazing Japanese line of products every other week through the spring.
The McGolrick Park community has built this market, and on behalf of Down to Earth Markets you’ve made it a joy for us to create and manage. Thank you for coming out every Sunday to buy directly from local farmers and food makers. (BTW, there are more vendors who are interested in joining the market. Let’s show them a great turn-out on Sunday, so they’ll jump in soon, too!)
On Sunday, our friend Jarrod will play music on the hand pan from noon – 2pm. His music makes for a lovely atmosphere. We so look forward to having you there. Stay tuned to market vendor updates, events, cooking demos, and more via our webpage for McGolrick Park Winter. Enjoy the market.
Remember to bring your reusable totes!
See you Sunday, Greenpoint!
