The battle of The Stephens is over and Stephen Levin came out on top.
According to DNAinfo:
“City Council Member Stephen Levin kept his spot representing Greenpoint and Williamsburg in Tuesday’s primary elections…Stephen Levin won 71 percent of the support, or 11,598 votes, while his challenger Stephen Pierson earned 29 percent, 4,742 votes.”
That’s unfortunate. Levin’s ties to Vito Lopez should have been reason enough to vote against him.
The Jewish bloc are Vito supporters and never miss an opportunity to vote.
