I got an email from darling Lila Dobbs, the buyer over at The Brooklyn Kitchen and The Meat Hook in Williamsburg. She’s participating in a holiday pop-up market at Variety Cafe with some other local food-business people. Perfection for stocking stuffers and a great place to stop on the way to your weekend soirees.
Did you wait until the last minute to buy stocking stuffers? Have you been shopping to the point of low blood-sugar induced delirium? Either or neither, come next weekend to Variety Cafe in Williamsburg for a one-time only Holiday Pop-Up Market! On December 18th and 19th from 10-5pm, me and 5 other Brooklyn-based jammers and confectioners will be slinging locally baked, spun and/or preserved holiday treats. You can look forward to bags of biscotti, jars of jams, butters, fruitcakes, caramels and yule-logs! (Yule-logs!)
