Diamond Bar is doing their annual Brew n’ Chew event again and this time it’s benefiting a cause close to my heart – The Greenpoint YMCA Strong Kids Campaign! Diamond Bar is donating 90% of their proceeds to the campaign.
Contributions to the YMCA’s annual Strong Kids Campaign ensure that no child or family is turned away from life-enhancing YMCA programs because of the inability to pay. Each year, the Greenpoint YMCA provides financial assistance to hundreds of local youth and families in need. These requests are now rising to unprecedented levels. The Greenpoint YMCA, through its annual fund-raising, wants to be there to meet them.

Our annual cornucopia of homemade beer and food pairings is Sunday, September 12th and tickets are on sale now. Only 100 spots are available so get yours now.
What: Taste homebrew & snack pairings from 10 unique local teams. (50% more teams than last year!)
When: Sunday, 9/12, 2-5pm. The top 3 teams, as voted by you, will be awarded prizes at 5:30.
Cost: $30. Purchase online through paypal and check into the event with your email address, no receipt required. Tickets are currently available at the bar as well.
Help Others: 90% of ticket proceeds donated to Greenpoint YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
FYI to Vegetarians: so far we have 3 meat pairings, 1 fish pairing, and 4 vegetarian pairings, and we still await info from a couple teams. Already MORE VEGGIE FRIENDLY than in previous years.
