Caught this post on Brooklyn365 about a ferry coming to North Brooklyn in 2011.
There have been rumors of increased water taxi coverage on the East River for years, but this looks like the real deal. A pilot program is being rolled out in Spring 2011 with RFP submissions for the North Williamsburg Ferry Landing due by August 18th, which is exclusive from Greenpoint and Northside landing initiatives.
