Just a reminder that this Monday there’s no L service for those of you unlucky enough to have to go to work.
L Line Shutdown from Brooklyn-Manhattan on Monday, July 5; future dates
This is to notify you that the L subway line will not be operating from Brooklyn to Manhattan on Monday, July 5, 2010 due to maintenance work. From 5:00 a.m. on Monday, July 5 through 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, the following alternate service will be in operation along the L line:
Normal L service from Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway to Myrtle Avenue
No L service from Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn to 8th Avenue, Manhattan (the M line will be extended into Manhattan to replace L service, and there will be shuttle buses from Myrtle Avenue to Lorimer Street, and then to Marcy Avenue for the M line. Also, extra M14 buses will be in operation in Manhattan)
There will be additional weekend L diversions coming up in August and we will keep you posted.
