Hey Greenpointers! I know ya’ll are an aware and caring bunch, so I thought I would fill you in on something I have been reading about:
The Red Cross is making for it easy for us to donate to the relief efforts in Haiti – all you have to do is text the word “Haiti” to 90999 and a $10 donation will be given to the Red Cross. The 10 bucks will be indicated on your cellphone bill for the month. Ta-Da!
If you feel like you can make this donation you absolutely should – it seems like not that much dough, but it all adds up – on their blog is says they have already raised 3 million dollars!
