I’m a new transplant to NYC & G’point and was wondering if you could recommend any plant nurseries. I’m looking for bags of organic soil in particular, and am looking on yelp.com and elsewhere, but just thought I’d check with you to see if there were any you knew in the ‘hood.

Down on Grand St. between Kent and Berry i think is a garden store. It is right down from Moon River Chattel Store. They probably have organic.
yep, the above commenter is correct. that store is called sprout home and i’ve purchased organic soil there before. super cute shop too.
i looked around g’point last summer for organic and never found it.
