I moved out of Greenpoint for a few months and then moved back to a house a block away from my old apartment.
Everything seems relatively unchanged. Five Leaves and Lokal are still here as are the dueling Rite Aids and my favorite fruit stand. But as I walked Manhattan Avenue this weekend, I spotted a new, fabulous gem (no pun intended): Bejeweled. I’m sure you all bought all your little sisters stocking stuffers there…
