Darts Revisited

I spent a lot of last year trying to get a dart league started within Greenpoint & Williamsburg to no avail but I did wind up getting hooked up with a great guy who runs the QDA – Queensborough Darts Association. Thanks to him I’m currently playing in a Thursday Mixed League for Connie O’s. As luck would have it, I knew half my dart team as a kid. That’s Greenpoint for you!

The reason for my post is to encourage any local bars or people who want to play in the Spring League. Registration is under way NOW, so just get in touch with Anthony and your bar could have a dart team up and running in a few weeks. With Connie O’s and Mulholland’s, there only needs to be a few more bars within Greenpoint & Williamsburg for him to make a separate league just for us. But even if we don’t get enough to break off just yet, your bar can still sign up and play in nearby Queens neighborhoods like Sunnyside and Astoria.
