Oh how I love the Fall! I’m personally someone who despises the Summer, so my weekends in the Summer tend to keep me indoors and fully air conditioned at all times. But the Fall is when I get out and about!

I’m already starting to fill up my social calendar with the next three weekends planned out nicely. But here are some more upcoming September things going on around town.

  1. here’s an event happening in Northern Greenpoint on the corner of Manhattan Ave and Freeman…Mourning the loss of my closest corner bodega. The One Stop at 1047 Manhattan Ave closed this past weekend and has not opened back up as it probably won’t as a notice from the DOB was posted saying the entire building was deemed uninhabitable!

  2. thats a bummer – but the building did like like it was going to collapse.

    BTW – its still summer, Fall starts on the 22nd.

  4. Here’s another event happening this coming weekend for parents interested in daycare/preschools. ABC Child Center, Inc. (109 Nassau Avenue – between Eckford and Leonard Streets) is hosting an OPEN HOUSE for interested parents from 2 – 4:30pm. They take kids starting at 2 years old.
