I just uploaded the pictures my sister GG took of the bodega fire on Greenpoint & Manhattan Aves this morning. Lots of gratuitous fireman shots, too.
The last shot is of one of our friendly neighborhood bums who frequents the corner where the fire took place. He seems to have relocated to HSBC across the street.

I agree one has actually gotten a mattress and set up camp on the corner of Milton and Manhattan.
Well for the record I was being sarcastic about ‘friendly neighborhood bum’. lol
I’m way familiar with that corner being a haven for the drunks. Some Polish, some American, most not homeless in the least.
