It’s Blog Buzz time my pretties!

The big news in the neighborhood is Scarano being “charged with knowingly or negligently filing false or misleading documents with the Department of Buildings. regarding the two apartment houses at 158 Freeman St. and 1037 Manhattan Ave. D’oh! – The Brooklyn Eagle

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that some schmuck broke one of the cool vintage Laundry windows at the Franklin Street laundromat next to Jack O’Neill’s. I spotted a pic of what it did look like before it was broken at Forgotten NY’s Little Milton page. – Forgotten NY

Refinery29 covers the new Franklin Street “general store” of Kill Devil Hill. I’m still trying to grapple with the need for a place in Greenpoint that sells “animal bones, 19th-century trading beads, and handmade Native American crafts” but that tie with the gun on it is pretty cool. And as you know I do love vintage goodies so as novelty as this place is, I’m all for it. – Refinery29

The Real World shocked us all and decided for their Brooklyn season to go hangout Downtown and live in the Belltel lofts. Williamsburgers act like they’re happy. – NYMag

Good Night Mr. Lewis is showcasing a couple of Top Chefs including season three’s very own Greenpointer, Camille Bacerra owner and chef of local joint Paloma. – Good Night Mr. Lewis

A Walk Around The Blog features my fellow blogger Keith Wagstaff of Williamsburg Is Dead.

This is the last year of the McCarren Pool Party Concerts since next year the pool will actually be, well, a pool again. JellyNYC is looking at having next years at the site of the old tanks. – LimeWire Music Blog

This weekend is the Renegade Craft Fair at McCarren Park Pool and I’m actually going. It’s going to be a Daddy daughter fest with my pops and three (of his four) daughters. Yeah, my pops got all girls so going to a craft fair for Fathers Day isn’t exactly something he complains about.

And lastly I want to shout out a thank you to Brooklyn Based for including the fundraising need for the St. Cecilia’s Gym in their Tip Sheet for this week. THANK YOU! And keep those donations coming, people. 🙂
