I posted the other day that I was taking a time out from the blog and I got an unexpected bunch of nice emails from some readers. No worries my Pointers, I am not quitting the blog, I’m just heading out of town for a few days and need to concentrate on some other things like getting a full time job. Feel free to email me any offers!
But after I get all my ducks in a row, I will try and get more on a schedule. It’s rough for me to everywhere at once and I honestly do appreciate the emails and heads up about things in the hood, which has brought me to something I’ve been mulling over for quite awhile…
Any of you out there want to write for Greenpointers? I don’t know what I’m really looking for but it’d be nice to have another person or two to add things going on around town. Ideally, I’d love it to be someone who grew up here like I did. A long time Polish resident, even. But I’m even entertaining the idea of someone who’s just moved here. What it has to be is someone with a sense of humor. I don’t personally give a shit what you write about as long as it’s about Greenpoint and it’s not construction issue nonsense or bizarro hipster bullshit. And please know how to spell and punctuate. Other than that, it’s an open call to do whatever.
