United Friends of McCarren Park started a blog recently and it’s the best way to keep up with the groups meetings and activities. Like next up is their next meeting on Tuesday, April 29th. Yes, I realize it’s confusing all the groups and community activists (and meetings! Boy do these people like meetings!) around the nabe nowadays. I’m confused myself but I’d rather see a bunch of people trying to do good things for the neighborhood than not enough.
