Sweet Victoria Reed on Existential Spiritual Crisis in Music

The official video for Victoria Reed’s “Make It Easy,” one of eleven songs on her upcoming debut album, came out on October 22. A little over a week later, a crowd at Williamburg’s Baby’s All Right was singing the catchy folk-pop tune along with her. Hurrah! A Bolt of Light! will play at Cameo Gallery (93 North 6th St.) this Friday, June 26 at 7pm. Listen out for “When I Was an Animal,” a cut on their upcoming EP.

Singer and guitarist Brian Sendrowitz will be doing a solo set at Spike Hill (186 Bedford Avenue), on a bill of close friends that includes Kid in the Attic (Maia Macdonald), Will Stratton, and Stay Indoors.
