Locals Grill Community Board Purchase of $26,000 Toyota

The purchase of a $26,000 Toyota SUV by the executive committee of Brooklyn Community Board 1 resulted in multiple community members speaking out at Tuesday’s public meeting against the board’s largest expense outside of payroll, the NY Post reports.

CB1 Transportation Committee Public Meeting Tonight

The Transportation Committee of Brooklyn Community Board 1 (CB1), which includes Greenpoint and Williamsburg, will hold its monthly public meeting tonight at the CB1 district office located at 435 Graham Ave from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The agenda is below, and tonight’s meeting will include a discussion on the ‘permanent’ changes to Grand Street as they relate to the Cuomo L train plan.
