Vendor Terms & Agreement

By registering for and participating in a Greenpointers Market, vendors agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines exist to ensure a safe, fair, and smooth experience for all vendors, attendees, and staff.

1. Registration & Payment

Vendor spaces are confirmed only after full payment is received. Submission of payment constitutes agreement to these Vendor Terms & Agreement, as well as any specific acknowledgements required during checkout.

2. Refund, Weather & Transfer Policy

Vendor fees are refundable until two (2) weeks prior to the market date. After that point, all fees are non-refundable. Vendor spaces are non-transferable and may not be reassigned, resold, or shared without prior written approval. Vendor spaces are also not transferable to another event date.

Markets are held rain or shine, except in the case of severe conditions that make the event unsafe or impossible to operate. Weather-related cancellations or changes do not qualify for refunds.

3. Vendor Space & Setup

  • Vendor spaces are pre-assigned and may not be expanded beyond their allotted footprint.
  • Table sizes, rack dimensions, and layouts are fixed.
  • Shared tables are limited to 4 feet per vendor.
  • Setup and breakdown times are mandatory and must be strictly followed.
  • Vendors arriving late or breaking down early may be denied participation without refund.

4. Electrical Access

Electrical access is provided only if explicitly stated in the vendorโ€™s selected space.
Vendors may not use unauthorized power sources. When power is provided, vendors must bring their own extension cords.

5. Vendor Materials & Displays

Vendors are responsible for bringing:

  • Table covers
  • Displays and merchandising materials
  • Any necessary equipment for their setup

Spaces are provided empty unless the vendor has purchased a table as part of their selected space.

6. Sales, Permits & Compliance

Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable NYC, NYS, and federal laws, including:

  • Sales tax collection and reporting
  • Required permits or licenses for their products
  • Product safety and labeling requirements

Greenpointers does not assume responsibility for vendor compliance.

7. Conduct & Enforcement

Greenpointers reserves the right to remove any vendor who:

  • Violates these terms
  • Acts in a way that is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful
  • Fails to follow staff instructions

Removal may occur without refund to protect the integrity of the market and the experience of others.

8. Liability

Vendors participate at their own risk.
Greenpointers is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury to vendor property, products, or equipment before, during, or after the event.

9. Changes & Event Operations

Greenpointers reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • Layout
  • Vendor placement
  • Event operations

These changes may be necessary for safety, logistics, or overall event success and do not constitute grounds for refund.

10. Agreement

By submitting payment, vendors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Vendor Terms & Agreement, as well as all acknowledgements presented during checkout.

These terms are intended to create a clear, respectful, and well-run market for everyone involved. Thank you for being part of the Greenpointers community.
