Help maintain the green in Greenpoint. The Brooklyn Greenway Initiative is hosting a Street Tree Stewardship this Saturday at 10 a.m. Anyone and everyone is welcome to show our neighborhood trees some TLC! Meet at the southeast corner of West Street and Greenpoint Avenue.

Daisies Burgers and Ebbs Brewing Company are collaborating this Saturday to bring you their take on the classic beer + burger combo. Swing by the brewery (182 North 8th Street) between 1 – 6 p.m. and get that satisfying meat sandwich swung at you.

Cuffie Ridge Vegan Café (154 Huron Street), relatively new Jamaican inspired cafe and juice bar in Greenpoint, will be open this Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You will be greeted by Ashé, who hails from Jamaica and is warmly passionate about what he serves. Check out that smile in person this Sunday.

Hemp Lab NYC (128 India Street) is hosting Jessie Kritt (a.k.a @the.weekend.weaver) this Sunday, 2 – 5 p.m. The duo brings you an elevated indigo shibori workshop!

Shibori is the Japanese technique of resist dyeing with indigo to create beautiful geometric and organic patterns on fabric. Each ticket comes with a pre roll and a small item to dye. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own textiles! Limited tickets available here.

Friend of All Glass (89 Freeman Street) is bringing back their Intro to Stained Glass classes!
