The Brooklyn Special Victims Unit is still searching for the suspect in an attempted rape that happened in Williamsburg just past 4pm on Friday 11/8.

The victim, 27, was walking down Graham Avenue towards Scholes Street when a man grabbed her from behind, slammed her head on the ground, and tried to rape her. Luckily, he took off when someone nearby heard the screams and intervened. The women was rushed to Woodhull for treatment.

According to Detective Paribello, who is in charge of the case, the suspect has still not been found, despite flyers being posted around the neighborhood.

The description of the suspect is as follows: black male, early 30s, between 5′ 8″ and 6ft tall, about 170 lbs, short hair.
