Many have asked why McCarren Park is fenced off and it’s because they are repaving the paths. Have you noticed the giant puddles from all the rain? When it’s wet the park terrain reverts back to it’s natural marsh state, and the pavement as you know is pretty shot. This is a good thing, but how long it will last before nature wins again is to be seen.
