I just got the best email ever that said, “Thank You For Scheduling An Appointment To Save A Life.”
Since last weekend, New York Blood Center (NYBC) has had to cancel dozens of blood drives and blood supply is reaching a critical level. They’ve estimated the loss of upwards of 10,000 pints because of these cancellations.
There is a blood drive on Saturday (11/3) at Williamsburg Church (231 Ainslie St) from 10am to 4pm.
And you can schedule an appointment. Click here to sign-up.
Is there a link to where to go to schedule an appointment? The church site doesn’t appear to have any info on it.
sorry. just added that.
The Red Cross also needs blood donors for exactly the same reason. I am giving blood this Tuesday. Heres a link http://www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation
As of Friday at 8pm “There are no available time slots on this day” for the WB location.
Maybe I should just show up and show ’em by O-negative credentials.
