“BALLS OUT!” Food Competition to benefit Ugly Art Room
Calling all food competitors!
The Ugly Art Room is throwing a food competition fundraiser at Veronica People’s Club (105 Franklin St, Greenpoint) on Thursday, May 26, 2011, 7-10pm.
Put your best balls forward! 10 creative food contestants will be chosen to compete. Each will be given $20 to buy food and the winner will win $100, and bragging rights! You will need to make 100 balls. We are expecting 50-75 guests.
Chocolate balls, meatballs, rice balls, cheese balls, any balls! The more crazy the better! You will be judged on taste, presentation and creativity…
Submission deadline: Friday, 5/20/2011
Email your balls idea to: uglyartroom@gmail.com
Include: “BALLS OUT (your name)” in the subject line.
In the body include: your phone number, website/food blog, balls idea in detail, a title for your balls dish. You will be notified by Monday, 5/23/11
If you are chosen, you must be able to bring your balls to VPC club on 5/26/2011 by 6:00pm and you must stay until 10pm to present your balls to guests who will vote on the winner.
