Greenpoint Open Studios is HERE!
Beginning 7pm THIS FRIDAY, Greenpoint Open Studios will celebrate a thriving creative community found in our neighborhood throughout the entire weekend. Over 150 participating artists will be opening their studios to share their creative practice and engage in communal dialogue and collaboration and fun. Art shows in galleries such as Yes Gallery and Greenpoint Gallery will display the works participating GOS artists. Opening night at Greenpoint Gallery will feature live music by the likes of People’s Champs and Living Days. In addition, local businesses Brouwerij Lane and Dandelion Wine will host a dual art show titled Girls & Boys as well as an exhibition at Paulie Gee’s as presented by GOS and Ugly Art Room. We are very excited to also present an evening long series of performances presented by the literary theater group Boomslang, hosted by the Church of Messiah. Let us also remember that Saturday night is Nuit Blanche, an all night street art festival to take place on Noble Street.
