Starting this weekend, G Train Shuttle Bus Hell is back and just in time for the sweltering summer months!
This is to inform you of MTA NYC Transit’s plans to operate a shuttle bus between the Bedford-Nostrand G station and Court Square (the G, as of 6/27/10, now terminates at Court Square) in Queens, replacing normal G line weekend service, for 6 weekends between mid-July and the end of September this year. This work will involve track repairs that are essential for customer safety and efficient operations. As you are aware, we operated a similar diversion for certain weekends earlier this year.
The 6 weekends are:
July 17-19
July 24-26
August 7-9
August 21-23
September 11-13
September 25-27
The work schedule for each weekend will be 12:01 a.m. Saturday through 5:00 a.m. Monday. All service diversions will be noted on posters at each affected G station in advance of the weekend work, and MTA NYC Transit staff will be available throughout these weekends at the affected stations to help our customers get to where they need to go.
