I got a chance to check out the first swap by Town Square last month and got a chance to get rid of some stuff I was tired of and pick up quite a few new to me items. I highly suggest checking one out as they are just a great way to get a headstart on your spring cleaning!
Town Square’s next GREENCYCLE SWAP is this Saturday, March 13, from 1 to 4 pm. As you may know, this year, we’ve decided to try to offer a Greencycle Swap every second Saturday of each month, alternating between Greenpoint and Williamsburg. It’s a wonderful partnership with so many great neighborhood people and organizations, as you will see from the poster below.
For our March Greencycle Swap, we have partnered with PS 132, The Shining Star of Williamsburg, located at 320 Manhattan Ave (entrance near Conselyea St). It’s a great way to reduce, reuse, and recycle clean and gently used clothes, shoes, toys, & books! We’ll also take in computers (working and non-working) and cell phones/electronics (working only please).
