The Habitat is getting ready for thei 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off on January 10th, so if you want in on this – throw your hat in the ring NOW!
- Submit your name at the bar throughout the upcoming weeks
- 10 names will be chosen via random drawing on January 3rd (one week prior to the contest) to decide who will prepare chili
- Chili cooks will be asked to make approximately 1 gallon of chili (or 1 large pot) which will be heated by our chef and presented to customers anonymously
- Tasting begins at 5pm, customers will pay $10 to taste a 2oz portion of each chili and cast their vote for the best and worst chili
1st prize is $100 cash
Turd place (worst chili) receives a $25 bar tab
Chef’s choice is awarded $50 cash
There will also be t-shirt giveaways and raffles throughout the event, as well as $4 draft specials.
