All the jokes you’ve heard about never seeing baby pigeons can finally be put to rest, especially for me. There are baby pigeons living on my fire escape!
Now, granted these couple of shots aren’t exactly the best but I’m no urban nature photographer and I don’t want to piss off the parental units so that I get shit on for the next decade.

we had 3 sets of baby mourning doves (they’re pigeons really, just smaller and a bit uglier when they are babies) get raised on our window sill last year, but i think they won’t come now because we don’t have a curtain.
I saw baby pigeons for the first time also today! And in Greenpoint, too.
