This will almost positively be the last year the Renegade Craft Fair is held at the McCarren Park Pool – unless of course it becomes an underwater adventure. Update: as per a Gothmist comment – it will be “along the walkways surrounding the running track + soccer field at McCarren Park, which is across the street from the Pool between Driggs/Union/Lorimer/Bayard”. They’re accepting applications now for vendors and I can honestly say that this was a great, great day last year. I picked up some really cool things and I honestly wished I’d saved a little more to spend because there were a lot of really great gift ideas and I could’ve banged out a nice chunk of holiday shopping.
So now with four months notice, I think I can be prepared this year.

We’re happy to announce that applications are now available for the 2009 Renegade Craft Fair in BROOKLYN! This year’s event will take place JUNE 6 + 7 from 11am – 7pm, in McCarren Park.
