Another handmade fair is the one at 3rd Ward which is going to feature the likes of Brooklyn Cookie and Mast Brothers Chocolate among others. This one is also going on next weekend – Sunday December 7th from Noon to 7pm at 195 Morgan Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

When you need to get the Christmas tree this year head over to one of two locations for Greenpoint Trees. They’re at the corner of Manhattan Aveune & Calyer Street open 24hrs starting November 25th or at the corner of Nassau Avenue & Diamond Street open everyday 12 Noon to 10pm starting December 1st. Or even better, call them and get their home delivery! Pick up some poinsettias for the parents, too.

Marty’s got a website dedicated to shopping Brooklyn at ishopbrooklyn.com – there are not participants listed from Greenpoint but there are a nice amount of merchants in the Williamsburg. Starting November 28, Brooklyn Friday, formerly known as Black Friday, and every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas! Everyone can enjoy “Brooklyn Bonus” specials, discounts and free gifts with minimum purchases from our participating merchants and restaurants. How to get your Brooklyn Bonus? Look for the “Shop Brooklyn” logo in storefronts. Ask, “What’s my Brooklyn Bonus?”

The Treehouse is planning a holidaze party in the next few weeks but from now until December 25th you can save 10% off any dress – new, designer or vintage – just by singing a few bars of “Jingle Bell Rock”. They definitely get props for most creative coupon idea. Find them at 430 Graham Avenue.

That’s what I’ve got so far – feel free to shoot me an email at greenpointers [at] gmail [dot] com with any tips for local places having sales or specials this holiday season!
