Suzy from the blog Greenpoint Dog and maker of delicious looking mini pies is looking for her elderly 16 year old kitty who went missing earlier this week. Suzy asked me to post something hoping maybe one of our readers has seen her. She’s a pretty unique looking puss, so keep an eye out for her!
16 years old; she just disappeared 2 days ago. there is construction being done next door, maybe that spooked her. she is very friendly, old and skinny, beige and black in color, half-siamese with a slightly cockeyed appearance. some of her hair is falling out in tufts around her chest, as i said, she is very old. don’t be afraid of her, she is not sick, and is very friendly.
we live on monitor street between nassau and norman. if you think you may have seen her, please send me an email. thank you so much. She’s so old and frail, and I’m just heartsick, as so worried about her.
Suzy mentioned she did get an encouraging email from someone who thinks they spotted her, so there’s hope!
“I’m pretty sure I saw your cat on the right side of N Henry street, as you head from Nassau to Norman (closer to Nassau) last night around 8:30 pm. She was a little scruffy looking so I thought she was one of the feral cat’s we have in the area, but was surprised when she did not run away as I passed. I will look again tonight and pick her up if I see her. Good luck!!!”
You can contact Suzy via her Craigslist posting here. Or email us at greenpointers [at] gmail [dot] com and we’ll let her know ASAP.
Update: I’ve learned from the owner that Lily has been found! 🙂
I don’t think cat’s should be let out on the streets in NYC it’s too easy to get lost, stolen, or hit. Backyard fine, but otherwise keep your cat safe indoors.
Has the cat been found?
Yes, I’ve learned from the owner that Lily has been found! 🙂
