Remember last month I posted about Teresa Toro, the transportation committee chair for Brooklyn Community Board #1, putting together some info on getting some bike racks in the hood? Well now the committee has organized a forum for next Wednesday the 18th.
The CB1 transportation committee has organized a forum on June 18. DOT reps will talk about the many bike related projects they’ve got going on in the community. The meeting will start at 6:30pm and will be at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, 66 North 6th Street, Northside.
If you’re one of those local bicycle peeps, you may want to check it out to see what’s in store for you guys. And maybe for the record the committee could tell you guys NOT to bike down Manhattan Avenue? Between the buses and the cars the bicyclists are just five points.
