I’ve noticed the last week or so that 105 Java is undergoing some sort of construction. I took a peek on the DOB website (yes, anyone can do it – it’s not a special talent) and it’s getting demo’d! That building has always been an eyesore and looked like it was half falling down. Whatever they put there will be an improvement.
Which brings me to another building that should be torn down – the one my father grew up in on Guernsey St. The building looks exactly the same as when he lived in it, 40 years ago! And what I love is that like five house down the block is this haughty “townhouse”. It’s positively comical.
