  1. Remember folks, you live in a Polish neighborhood where there are still wonderful meat markets and homemade bakeries offering fantastic holiday foods at half the prices of these newcomers and franchises. Try Kiszka or Polam International Meat markets where you can get stuffed cabbage, mini meatballs in dill sauce, dry spicy kabanosy sausages, cervelat dry salami, home made hams, cheese, pickles, dirt cheap smoked salmon/trout/whitefish with delicious potato, vegetable or mushroom salad with peas and carrots, smoked fish, and cheese. Then pick up breads and dessert at Little Poland or Jaslowiczanka bakery, babkas, freshly baked cakes or cookies and head home with a feast and some money in your pocket!
