Parable of the Bell Tower: Re-Imagine the Bible through Art

Writers, visual artists, knitters, and anyone who creates while seated is invited to bring their materials, make art that re-imagines scripture, and share what they make with each other. Each week we’ll spend about 15 minutes learning some historical background on a biblical text and examining paintings, poetry, and music from artists who have re-imagined it. Participants then have 30 minutes to create in whatever way they're inspired. At the end, people have a chance to share what they’ve made. The goal is not to create a finished work, but to explore our stories and our art together.
