On April 10, the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals held an Adoptapalooza event in honor of the ASPCA’s 150th anniversary.

Held at Greenpoint’s own House of Vans, 300 dogs, cats, and bunnies were breaking all sorts of hearts (or possibly making them whole again for the people who came to adopt).

Aside from getting to squee 300 times over, attendees were treated to meet & greets with celebrity pets like Marnie the Dog, Mervin the Chihuahua, Chloe Kardoggian, and Ella Bean the Dog, plus food trucks, photo booths, and a film premiere for a documentary called “Second Chance Dogs.”

For your Thursday afternoon edification, here are some choice snaps.
