Can you keep a secret? The Lost Lectures will be in New York City next Friday, April 25th. No, The Lost Lectures isn’t the Indiana Jones film that George Lucas left on the cutting room floor. It’s an emergent series of cutting edge speakers, performances, interactive demos and art installations. Originally from London, The Lost Lectures’s have partnered with Hyperallergic for its New York City debut. The lineup includes Blood Orange, Choire Sicha, Barbara Nitke, Marc Abrahams and one surprise speaker. The event will be held at a secret (think crypto clearance security level top secret) location. The whereabouts of the venue will be revealed on a need-to-know basis two days prior to the event to ticket holders. The location will be no more than a 40 minute subway ride from Union Square, so don’t fret, you won’t need to be a raider of the lost ark to find it. Although, given the buzz surrounding this event, your face may melt off once you get there.
