I’ve been patiently waiting for news on the concerts that are going to be held this summer at McCarren Pool since it’s supposed to be the last year of concerts being held there before we’re back in the splashy pool-ness it was originally designed for.
There’s nothing yet up on the McCarren Park Pool website. They’re still rocking the 2007 calendar so far. But I spied on Ticketmaster there are two shows scheduled so far – MIA on 6/6 and Death Cab for Cutie on 6/10. Neither of which I’m particularly interested in, but I’m psyched to see what else comes around. I have a feeling there are going to be some good acts this year.
I’m really, really hoping so, anyway.
**Update: I just saw that Ween is playing The Pool on 7/25.
